Co-Founder: Katrina Melesciuc
Katrina Melesciuc is a co-founder of Women’s iLab and is passionate about disrupting the norm, driving innovation and inspiring women’s advancement in the working world.
After spending her early years rocking the suburbs of Boston, Katrina packed her bags for the University of New Hampshire. To celebrate UNH in it’s full glory, she wore her Alpha Phi sorority letters loud and proud, became a UNH hockey super fan, joined the founding team of HerCampus UNH, ate and drank her way through Italy’s wine country and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting with a concentration in Spanish. Katrina later went on to study at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business where she graduated with her Master’s in Business Law & Accounting.
During graduate school, Katrina began working at an advertising technology startup company in Boston, Visible Measures, where her love affair with startups and driving innovation began. She finished up her Master’s degree and made the decision to leave her career in finance to join the ever changing and rapid-paced startup community where she learned from incredibly smart and experienced CEOs, CMOs, investors and engineers who have all started their own businesses.
Today, Katrina is manager of Visible Measures’ Strategy & Analytics team, and has developed and evangelized new technical solutions for the advertising industry to leading brands on a global scale. She spends her free time running and volunteering at Boston’s Boys and Girls Club, and was a finalist for Boston’s ONEin3 Social Impact Award. Katrina is inspired by her hard working parents, adventurous brother, her fun loving Irish family and loyal best friends.
