Curing the Holiday Hangover

Did you drink too much wine or have one too many vodka sodas at your holiday party last night? It happens to the best of us, and not just around the holidays. There are two products that I love and use a few times a week that are also great for a quick health boost the morning after a night out. Aloha Daily Good is a dried green juice that you can use however you like. It is a perfect addition to your morning smoothie or you can make it into a quick drink. My favorite way to drink it is mixed with almond or coconut milk and two teaspoons of matcha green tea powder then pour over ice to make a perfect iced latte. It is refreshing and energizes you. Drink Maple, a company based out of Concord, MA makes bottled maple water. Maple water, I believe is the new coconut water. I was excited to try it since it has so many benefits, even more than the acclaimed coconut water. It contains over 46 nutrients that include vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, prebiotics, electrolytes, amino acids and antioxidants. Maple water is known to support digestive health, hydrate, increase energy levels, bone strengthening, and has anti-inflammatory results. This product is similar to coconut water but has much less sugar and calories! I was very surprised at the taste when I tried it, it is not very sweet at all and does not taste like maple syrup in the least. It is super refreshing and easy to drink.
