Finding Your Inner Beauty
Imagine if we all were confident and saw each other’s inner beauty. Beauty has become a certain image because of the media. Beauty, confidence, and self-love are brought together in the movement, Raw Beauty Talks.
“Beauty is the enemy. We try to conquer not feeling beautiful all our lives. It’s a battle that can’t be won. There’s no definition of beauty. The only way to achieve beauty is to feel it from inside without breaking it down into individual physical attributes,” says Miley Cyrus.
We need to focus more on our inner beauty rather than putting on makeup. Once you find your inner beauty, makeup will feel like you are covering it up. It’s still fun to put on once and awhile, but try it. Your skin will love you for it, and so will your wallet. Take care of your body, your body doesn’t like when you poison it with twinkies and chicken nuggets. So eat healthier, exercise, take care of your skin (that means use good products like Nerium). See below for more info on helping you live a better, healthier lifestyle. Living a healthier lifestyle helps clear the fog, which makes it easier to find that inner beauty. You must love yourself before you can love others. Remember that.
The media has created this image of what beauty should look like but the fact is that we are all beautiful in our own way. Embrace and love what you are giving. No one is perfect.
Fiona Forbes once said, “Don’t aspire to be a woman you see in a magazine. Aspire to be you.”
Rethink what defines you. Special K did a great job promoting confidence.
Take care of yourself:
Nutrition: Whole Foods, Wegmans, Fresh Market, Trader Joes (buy organic and don’t buy junk–you won’t eat it if you don’t buy it)
Exercise: Go to the gym during your lunch break, go for a jog/walk, join a league, yoga. (I get myself to go to the gym during my lunch break because I run on the treadmill and watch a show I like)
Well-being: See a chiropractor once a week, acupuncture, meditation. (Take five minutes every morning to just enjoy life. Gratitude is so important. If you have affirmations, say them after the five minutes is up.)
Healthy Skin: Use lotions on body with no parabens, mineral oil, or harsh chemicals. (The only thing I use is Nerium Day/Night/Firm…..my #RawBeautyTalks no makeup selfie is below. And yes I said I’m not wearing makeup.)
Journey on, natural beauties.
