Call It Supper: Grilled Flank Steak Pinwheels

“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” (Virgina Woolf)

At Call It Supper, we try to find as many opportunities to grill as possible. However, we are often at the mercy of unclear weather forecasts, which means figuring out a plan the day that we are grilling. Nonetheless, we have a recipe that you can put together at a moments notice without sacrificing flavor—flank steak pinwheels.

RECIPE: Grilled Flank Steak Pinwheels

This recipe is extremely versatile, you can switch up the herbs, cold cuts and cheese as you please, but what I like about the recipe below is that it balances sweet and savory in each layer from the sun dried tomatoes and capers to the Proscuitto and Mortadella.
