Nominate A Woman of Worth
We are all aware of L’Oreal Paris’ brand’s philosophy: “Because I’m Worth It.” This year marks a decade that L’Oreal Paris has been honoring extraordinary women making a difference in their communities. Each year, ten women are awarded $10,000 for her charitable cause. Additionally, the Woman of Worth honoree with the most votes will receive a $25,000 donation. L’Oreal Paris is accepting nominations until May 15th. Online voting will take place November 2-20, culminating in an award ceremony event in New York City for the honorees in December.
2014 Honorees stood for a wide range of issues within their communities. Here are a few examples:
- Jenny Williamson’s Courage Worldwide, which offers assistance to help girls recover from sex trafficking
- Corinne Cannon’s DC Diaper Bank, which supplies struggling families with their needs
- Brittany Wenger, a fifteen year old who created Cloud4Cancer to improve breast cancer diagnoses
I am looking forward to seeing this year’s list of honorees so that I can vote for these amazing women. If you know an inspiring woman who is changing her community, I encourage you to nominate her to be one of this year’s Women of Worth. Every woman has the power to make a difference. We are all worth it! Nominate Now
