Bizwomen Mentoring Monday Set For March 30th
Have you ever been interested in working with a mentor but did not know where to start?
Bizwomen, a digital resource site geared towards women in business, is making this a possibility in 43 different cities across the United States. Monday, March 30th, is their second annual ‘Mentoring Monday’. If your city is on the map, you’re in luck! To see where your city is holding an event, find the location here.
Bizwomen invites influential women in each of these cities to act as a mentor to those who attend. Attendees will be able to select from a panel of mentors and meet with them for five to seven minutes. The format is speed-coaching (much like speed-dating), where the mentors have one-on-one coaching sessions to offer career advice.
Bizwomen expects that every attendee will have the opportunity to speak with one to seven mentors. Being mentored is a valuable experience. You will also have the opportunity to network with other women in between mentoring sessions. The networking possibilities definitely make this event worth attending!

I hold a Master’s in Education and have spent a majority of my professional career in Higher Education. I enjoy traveling, learning, cooking, wine, Pilates, attending concerts and reading for both my book clubs.
