The Atlas of Beauty
In my eyes, individuality is one of the most interesting traits a person can carry. The unique characteristics or qualities that a person posses is what makes them who they are. I think that beauty can also be individualistic. We are all of different descent and the genes we inherit as just another factor into our individuality as whole.
One photographer realized this and made it her mission to capture all of the individual beauty of women throughout the world. Mihaela Noroc, the author of The Atlas of Beauty, has traveled the world taking pictures of women to document the vast diversity of beauty throughout the world. Noroc’s goal is to document the world diversity through the different shades of beauty throughout the world. Looking through the pictures I was captivated by how unique each women looked, each products of their heritage, culture and environment.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: SIOBHAN BRENNAN
Siobhan Brennan is a senior at Fairfield University pursuing a degree in Communication and Sociology & Anthropology. She had her fifteen minutes of fame in the second grade when I was on the PBS show Arthur . . . and she is still waiting for her big return to stardom (dream big, ladies!!) Nothing gets Siobhan going like a good Instagram filter or a witty and charming twitter hashtag, which is why she believes Social Media is the marketing of the future. Siobhan has been known to crush an entire Netflix series in days, with her record being the entire Game of Thrones series in one week. Her idol since the beginning has been Liz Lemon and in true Liz Lemon fashion, yes, she would ALWAYS prefer to be bought mozzarella sticks than a drink at a bar.
