Call It Supper: Red Wine Syrup
Have you ever had a party and woke up the next morning with all these opened half-full (optimist) bottles of wine? Neither have we, our guests always finish the wine at Call It Supper, but if you do find that you are in the scenario with leftover wine that is pass its prime, we have a solution for you. RECIPE: Red Wine Syrup
Two days ago, I finally decided that I needed to do something with the the left over wine that was sitting on my counter, and though I’m no wine expert, I knew that a week and a half is too long to consider drinking it. Instead, I took inspiration from trip to Munich where I had Gluwien; using a similar flavors, I reduced the wine into a syrup.
Steps & Ingredients
- Combine all of the ingredients into a saucepan and reduce.
