The Rise of the Twenty-Something Artist

It is safe to say we live in an era where fame and the prerequisite for innate talent are becoming less exclusive. However in the music world, the rise of young and talented female artists has never been stronger. As veterans including Beyonce, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry continue to pave the way, young twenty-somethings are building a new foundation and definition for what it takes to become a female vocalist in today’s day and age.

Thanks to YouTube and hundreds of other online music outlets, female artists have even more opportunity to get “discovered” at a young age. Therefore, this week for the premier of our new music blog – Women’s iStudio, we would like to highlight some of today’s up-and-coming and talented female artists who are paving the way for generations of twenty-somethings to come.
