#MondayMotivation: Mass Musings, Inspiration For the Creative Individual

All ladies of the iLab needs a little extra motivation on a Monday morning! A little something to feed the soul before that weekday hustle starts back up again. I personally keep my creative juices flowing catching up on various bloggers and media outlets every morning covering everything from health to fashion to lifestyle to business and tech.

Monica.Justesen.Photography.Creative.Portrait.Photographer.Massachusetts.03In this week’s #MondayMotivation series, Women’s iLab brings you Mass Musings founded by the wildly talented Kayte Demont.  Having grown up surrounded by creativity with her mom being an art teacher, Kayte knew that the arts were always something that she wanted to get involved with. Kayte left her hometown in Maine to study at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, then moved to Boston after college and has since been pouring her soul into forging a space where individuals can congregate to find creative inspiration.

Two years later, Mass Musings reaches thousands of readers and is moving toward becoming a curated lifestyle magazine for the creative individual covering everything from lifestyle, fashion, health/wellness and weekly playlists.

Check out one of our recent favorites from Kayte and the Mass Musings team below and follow Mass Musings on their blogbloglovin, and instagram.

Back To The Real World [Part 1]

It’s that time of year! Students are returning to school, the weather is growing colder, and suddenly you notice that it doesn’t stay light outside for quite as long in the evenings. Fall is upon us. If you’re like me, you aren’t returning to a fun-filled collegiate campus. Instead, nothing has really changed that dramatically about life. If anything, in an attempt to fight seasonal depression your bank statement has taken a hit . Luckily, the latter is totally acceptable because with the new season comes foliage, apple picking, pumpkin everything and new fashion!

Fresh off of our adventures at NYFW, Tilden and I have teamed up once again with the incredible Brad Bahner to bring you an editorial series focused on “real world” fashion! Over the next few weeks we will be rolling out installments packed with styling ideas, tips, and tricks – all ready to shop! Hopefully you will find this just as fun and inspiring as we did. Enjoy!
